| Glitterwake is our ‘vintage Rolls Royce’ and turns heads wherever she goes. Built in 1937 by Jack Powells in Wroxham, she is 32ft long and has four berths (although the berths are large so if you have small children you can easily “double up”).
She is a true little ship and is virtually original, even down to the lamp shades! She’s full of beautiful wood, and special bits you only get on a boat of this quality. She’s also a very safe boat, with deck rails all round. And a great boat for all-weather cruising, with a solid wheelhouse and controllable central heating to the cabins. Toilets fore and aft, seating in wheelhouse, ample deck space for relaxing. And a mud-weight winch, so there’s no heavy weight to throw in or pull out again!
We've carried out some improvement work on Glitterwake, to provide new upholstery throughout, and all her bedding and interior equipment is brand new.
Although based on the Powles ‘star class’ hull, there is not another boat like her anywhere – she was originally built for a wealthy private owner.
